About Us

Walks-On-Water' Dock Company is a family owned and operated business which has been building reasonably priced, quality docks at our Clear Lake, MN location since 1993. Our docks and lifts are proudly made right here in American by Americans. Our cedar and AquaDek come to us by truckload from Canada and our plastic products are made by local businesses. We believe in our products and we stand behind what we make.
We don't believe in supporting foreign countries by jobbing out our components trying to save a buck.
We have both roll-in and sectional dock styles in standard 'packages' or we can custom design a dock to fit your individual needs. We have systems ranging from 16 to 210 feet on lakes and rivers in the 5-state area, Canada, and as far away as Idaho, Oklahoma, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Our dock and lift designs are based on tried and true, sound engineering basics. Bernie was an ironworker for 30+ years and put that knowledge of construction welding and load bearing design into the docks he started building almost 20 years ago. This design has been so successful that any of the sections and accessories we make now will fit seamlessly with those first docks from 1993! And although the outward appearance of Walks-On-Water docks has been copied, the structural design and the sound engineering reasoning that makes our docks strong, stable, yet lightweight, isn't imitated! And since we fabricate our docks and lifts right here, we can make them meet individual needs and we work with you to make sure you get just what you need.
