Decking

Our docks are priced with 5/4 radius edge Western Red Cedar as the standard decking material. The boards are glued and screwed from the  bottom into 4 ft by 4 ft panels. The panels are removable to decrease the weight of the dock as it is being installed or removed, and to facilitate storage during the winter. Removing and storing the decking for the winter months extends the usable life and appearance.

While Western Red Cedar does not have a warranty, it is a naturally rot-resistant wood that is air-dried as opposed to being kiln-dried. Many customers have told us that they have had their cedar docks from 15-20 years with some saying even 30 years  with only minimal board replacements needed.

AquaDek is our newest decking option. These panels are fastened directly to the dock framework and adds 170# to the total weight of 40’ of dock. It carries a 15 year manufacturer's warranty

AquaDek- 2'x4'plastic panels fastened to the dock framework. Adds 34#  to an 8' section of dock. 15 year warranty

Titan Deck- Plastic grate reinforced with aluminum tube. 4'x4' panels approx. 38# each. Manufacturer's Limited Lifetime Warranty .Non heat-absorbing,  slip resistant finish.

Powder Coated Aluminum-Approx 22#  per 4x4' panels.
